EXPO: ANNA LOOG IS OPEN!
Fine tricks, finesses and form shape re-mixes. Thats what ´Anna Loog´ offers you. An expo of works by international collage artists, curated by Wim Maes (B), The latter knows what collage-art has to offer to (wo)men and mankind since he first came in touch with the works of James Gallagher (USA). And got infected himself by the art of the popular cut and paste culture. Not that strange to find a wall of intriguing small works by Gallagher, opposite some body-movement by Berlin´s Isabel Reitemeyer (D). Stretched inbetween are a few of Philippe Jusforgues (MC) portraits who face art works by Jason Brown (GB), the décollage of Louis Reith (NL) and some great Fluxus influented collages by Maes´ fellow Belge Luc Fierens! These works tell the story of the disenchanted beauty only collage art can bring to you. Anna Loog is hosted by Gallery NavArt in St. Niklaas, Belgium until okt 4th. Go and See. Get excited!
